1½ cups self-rising flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
4 large eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons melted butter
Add-ins: 2 cups pecans, finely chopped

Preheat & Prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray. -
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth. -
Add Dry Ingredients:
Stir in self-rising flour and salt gradually. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix! -
Add Flavor & Pecans:
Stir in vanilla extract, honey, and melted butter. Fold in chopped pecans evenly. -
Bake:
Pour batter into the baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. -
Cool & Slice:
Let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
