1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

4 large eggs, beaten

1 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ cup honey

2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.

  3. Add Dry Ingredients:
    Stir in self-rising flour and salt gradually. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix!

  4. Add Flavor & Pecans:
    Stir in vanilla extract, honey, and melted butter. Fold in chopped pecans evenly.

  5. Bake:
    Pour batter into the baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
